Through his own investment and construction company, he has been involved in the development of home units and single residential homes, offices, factories and warehouses and land subdivisions for nearly 40 years.

Peter Dawes
Consultant to the Board
Responsibilities: Corporate Governance
Mr Dawes has had more than 30 years business experience as a Director of his own Perth based manufacturing business, which under the leadership of Mr Dawes became a national market leader in the supply of sporting garments. Peter's relationship with Amex began in 1987, when he had overall responsibility for project management and marketing of the company’s projects until becoming a non-executive director in 2007.

Adam Shephard
Managing Director
Responsibilities: Group Management, Strategy & Finance
Adam became Amex’s Managing Director in 2007. He has had over 15 years experience in the property and finance industries. Adam is an Australian Chartered Accountant (ACA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia and a MBA from the Melbourne Business School. Prior to joining Amex in 2001, Adam was employed with Babcock & Brown in Sydney.

Cameron Shephard
Executive Director
Responsibilities: Business Development & Acquisitions
Cameron joined the company in 1995. Cameron has responsibility for overseeing the company’s project operations as well as handling business development and acquisitions. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Western Australia and a Post Graduate Diploma in Property from Curtin University. He is also a licensed Real Estate Agent.

Peter Tesoriero

Responsibilities: West Australian Operations
Peter joined Amex in 2010 with over 12 years experience in the planning and delivery of residential, commercial and industrial development projects. Prior to joining Amex, he spent 4 years working as a Development Manager with Stockland Property Group. Peter holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Property) from Curtin University.

Michael Khan
Project Director Queensland
Responsibilities: Ripley Valley Project – Operations and Development
Michael joined Amex in 2008 with over 15 years experience in the planning and delivery of Residential Communities and Commercial Development Projects. Prior to joining Amex, he spent 3.5 years working as a Senior Development Manager with Stockland Property Group. Michael is a qualified Civil Engineer with post graduate qualifications in local government. He is currently a Committee member of the Ipswich Branch of the UDIA (Qld).

Bruce Wooldridge
National Finance Manager
Responsibilities: Financial Management, Reporting and Compliance
Bruce holds a Bachelor of Business and is an Australian Chartered Accountant (ACA). He has significant experience in senior finance roles in listed companies and in the public accounting arena. Prior to joining Amex, Bruce held senior management positions with Alinta Limited. Previously, Bruce was employed as a Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he accumulated over 12 years of local and international commercial experience, covering a wide range of industries.

Andrew Ashwood
Development manager
Andrew joined Amex in 2011 and has over a decade’s experience in the acquisition, planning, and delivery of residential subdivisions. Prior to joining Amex Andrew spent 6 years working as Development Manager with Villa World Ltd in addition to managing their joint venture property development portfolio. Andrew is a qualified civil engineer and also holds bachelors and masters degrees in law as well as an MBA.

Ian Smyth
Assistant Development Manager Western Australia
Responsibilities: assisting in West Australian operations
Ian joined Amex in 2011 having spent 3 years working as a Project Assistant in the development of purpose built commercial projects for the Coxon Group. Ian has recently completed his tertiary education graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Property & Commercial Law from Curtin University. Ian is a member of the Australia Property Institute (WA).
